What doe's the future hold for our children
and grandchildren coming into this world today? When you
think of the advancement in technology over the last 100
years one can not help wondering what will be left of our
world in another 100 years. My father was born at the
beginning of this century, when transport was mainly by
horse and cart there were no washing machines,
calculators, microwave ovens, computers or even
television. To travel to the States from the UK took
weeks instead of the few hours it now takes. Yes the
world is a better place to live in now if it were not for
the terrible weapons that are now manufactured and the
possibility of them being used in some future war. What
do you think the future holds for our children?
